We combine deep technical expertise with rigorous data science to design systems that are reliable, scalable, and grounded in trusted data.

■  Our origins

Founded out of Harvard and MIT in 2013, Kensho received early backing from Google Ventures, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and S&P Global—building solutions for the world's largest financial institutions.

Acquisition

In 2018, S&P Global acquired Kensho as a major investment in AI innovation. Since then, we've built capabilities that prepare and enrich S&P's data at scale, strengthen core offerings, and power new GenAI products.

Today

Our mission is to help S&P Global leverage cutting-edge technology to become the world’s most trusted and innovative data, benchmarks, and ratings company.
